Care Tips: Ophiopogon Pusillus, commonly known as "Dwarf Mondo Grass," is a small, slow-growing aquatic plant that is well-suited for the foreground of aquariums. It prefers low to medium lighting conditions and thrives in temperatures between 20–28°C. The plant is tolerant of slightly acidic to neutral water (pH 6.0–7.5) and does best in a nutrient-rich substrate. Due to its slow growth rate, it requires minimal maintenance once established. Ophiopogon Pusillus forms a dense mat of fine, grass-like leaves that provide a soft, lush appearance to aquascapes. While it does not require CO2 supplementation, it can benefit from occasional liquid fertilization to keep its growth healthy and vibrant. This plant is ideal for aquariums looking for a subtle, low-maintenance foreground plant that won't overwhelm other plants in the aquascape. It is propagated by dividing clumps or cutting and replanting individual runners. Regular water changes will also help maintain good growth conditions.
