The easiest red stem to grow. Alternanthera rosaefolia is one of the most forgiving red plants — maintaining its pink-red leaf undersides even under moderate lighting. Broader leaves than A. reineckii give it a bolder presence.
Grows well with moderate light; CO₂ enhances color and compactness. More tolerant of lower-tech setups than other Alternanthera species. Regular trimming promotes side shoots.
✂️ Propagation: Trim and replant cuttings. Roots in 5–7 days. Easy.
