IntermediateVibrant ColorCO₂ RecommendedBackground Plant
Rich red-bronze tones from the rivers of Senegal. Ammannia senegalensis produces compact, cross-shaped leaf pairs that turn from olive-green to intense red-bronze under high light. More robust than A. gracilis.
High light and CO₂ bring out the strongest coloration. Tolerates moderate light but remains mostly green. Iron dosing recommended.
✂️ Propagation: Trim and replant cuttings. Roots in 5–7 days. Easy.
