Care Tips: Anubias nana (Tropica) is a popular and hardy aquarium plant that is well-suited to low-tech setups. It has thick, dark green leaves that grow slowly and is excellent for beginners. It thrives in low to medium lighting and does not require CO₂ supplementation, although it will benefit from fertilization, particularly when grown in nutrient-poor substrates. This plant is perfect for the foreground or midground of aquascapes, where it can be attached to rocks or driftwood. Anubias nana (Tropica) is a low-maintenance plant, but regular pruning will help it maintain a tidy appearance. It can also be used in shaded areas as it is very tolerant of low light conditions.
