Care Tips: Microsorum pteropus 'APC Sunrise' is a unique and eye-catching variety of Java Fern featuring reddish or bronze hues under optimal lighting conditions, giving it a "sunrise" glow. Like other Java Ferns, it's best attached to hardscape to prevent rhizome rot. It thrives in low to medium lighting and doesn’t need CO₂ injection, making it great for low-tech aquariums. Nutrient-rich water and occasional dosing of liquid fertilizers can enhance its coloration. Minimal maintenance is required beyond occasional trimming of older leaves.
