Care Tips: Microsorum pteropus 'Coral' is a unique variety of Java Fern with small, delicate, and wavy coral-like leaves that give it an interesting texture. It thrives in low to medium lighting and does not require CO₂ supplementation, making it ideal for low-tech tanks. Like other Microsorum species, it should be attached to rocks or driftwood, as burying its rhizomes in the substrate can cause them to rot. This plant has a slow growth rate, so it doesn’t require frequent pruning but will benefit from regular water changes and occasional fertilization. It works well in midground or background positions, adding a delicate and textured appearance to your aquascape.
