It does well in nutrient-rich substrates and will also benefit from CO2 supplementation, which promotes healthier, more vibrant growth. While it is adaptable to a variety of tank setups, it works best as a midground or background plant, creating a lush and dense growth. Liquid fertilizers and regular water changes will keep the plant thriving. Its rapid growth can help outcompete algae in aquariums, making it a great addition for aquascaping. It can be propagated by cutting and replanting its stems.
