Care Tips: Echinodorus Chameleon is a unique and attractive plant known for its ability to change leaf coloration depending on the lighting conditions. It can range from a green to a reddish hue, making it a dynamic addition to aquariums. This plant thrives in medium to high lighting and will show the most vibrant colors under bright conditions. While not strictly requiring CO₂ supplementation, it will grow better with it, as well as a nutrient-rich substrate. Echinodorus Chameleon prefers a slightly acidic to neutral pH (6.0–7.5) and stable water conditions. It grows at a medium pace, and regular trimming of older leaves helps keep the plant compact and encourages new growth. This plant is perfect for adding color contrast and texture to midground or background areas of your aquascape.
